About

Marcie

I became a National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer after a long journey to my own personal health. It began with daily walks through the cow pastures on a country ranch and peaked during a year of living in the Arabian Gulf. It was there that I discovered that there are no restrictions of climate, culture, or anything else that can prevent someone with just a bit of courage and the desire to change from transforming their bodies and living a healthy lifestyle. There is nothing that makes me happier than seeing someone’s self-confidence soar as years of unhealthy habits and heavy pounds melt away, as their friends and family recognize a new-found inner joy and outer glow, and as they see that new goals are within their reach. I know from experience that a strong, healthy body doesn’t just happen. We must work for it. It’s not a matter of finding the time, but making the time and making active decisions. It’s hard work, but it’s also fun! I keep my personal fitness at top performance with dedication in the kitchen and keeping my workouts varied and challenging with Cross Fit, high intensity interval training and distance running.
